THESIS EXHIBITION,

In addition to the completion of required coursework, each MFA degree is awarded on the basis of the quality of the student's work as demonstrated in the Thesis Exhibition and as elaborated in the Thesis publication.  As a part of final thesis examination, each MFA candidate presents a public defense of her work. The Thesis Exhibition, and the associated events and publications are co-organized by A,T,P, and the Block Museum at Northwestern University.

CURRENT GRADUATE STUDENTS,

STUDIOS,

A private workspace is given to each graduate student during their residency. Currently located in Locy Hall, the studios are accompanied by storage spaces, a lounge, and various equipment. Each year A,T,P, hosts an MFA Graduate Studio Open House allowing the public to experience the atmosphere within our graduate program, meet our current MFA candidates, and see their work while in the process of making.
